Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist position is available for a contracted assignment from mid-February for approximately 12 weeks. This role services students across a K-12 school setting in Kaukauna, WI, supporting a diverse caseload of 26 students with a wide range of disabilities, ages 3 to 21.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the individual needs of students with physical disabilities
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license
- Experience working in K-12 school environments
- Familiarity with varied disabilities and age groups spanning early childhood to young adults
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while adapting to diverse student needs
Location and Schedule:This position is onsite at various elementary, middle, and high schools within the Kaukauna area. It requires a 37.5-hour workweek on a full-time contract basis.
